Leslie Ave. Candle Co. started as something just for me. When I couldn’t find candles that were both clean and beautifully crafted, I started making my own—just for my personal use. I had no plans to turn it into a business, but as my love for the craft grew, so did my dream. What started as a simple solution for myself became a mission: to create candles that help others feel at peace in their own space, free from the stressors of life.

As a Midwestern girl who grew up an athlete, I’ve always been drawn to hard work and discipline—but I’ve also had seasons of feeling misunderstood and carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. Struggling with anxiety, I longed for a space that felt calm and free—somewhere I could exhale.

With time, patience, and a whole lot of trial and error, I refined my skills and slowly elevated my brand. My background as a health professional made it non-negotiable that every product be safe and clean—free from toxins, artificial colors, and anything that didn’t align with my values. Every candle is still hand-poured with the same meticulous attention to detail, using only the purest ingredients for a clean, natural burn.

Though I’ve since moved away from Leslie Ave, I kept the name as a tribute to where this journey began—a reminder that humble beginnings can lead to something truly special. Today, my husband, Jared, is my biggest supporter and plays a huge role behind the scenes, handling the tedious (but essential) tasks that keep things running smoothly. My family, friends, and OG customers have stood by me from the start, and because of their unwavering belief in me, this brand has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.
